Hourly rental here is $85. Three hours of shooting costs more than a month of the Creator tier. If you shoot even once a week, membership is the cheaper option from day one, and you stop rationing your own creative work by the hour.

Pick a slot, come walk both rooms, see the sets in person and shoot a few test frames if you want. No pressure and nothing owed.

Tell us which tier fits how you actually shoot. If hourly would be cheaper for your volume, we will say so.

You get access details and the booking calendar. Walk in, plug in, shoot. Month to month from there.

Questions

Before you tour.

How many hours do I actually get?
Up to 4 hours per day, first come first serve, on any day the studio is free. There is no monthly hour cap on top of that. In practice most members shoot two to four times a week and never run into a limit.
Is there a contract?
No. Month to month, cancel whenever. We would rather earn the renewal every month than lock you into a year you regret in March.
What is included in the monthly fee?
Studio access, all the sets in your tier, and the house lighting package: lights, stands and modifiers. You bring cameras, media and your own crew or talent.
What is the difference between the tiers?
Creator ($250) gets you 508B, the mixed-use production room with the cyc wall and lighting grid. Four-Set ($300) gets you 510, the room with all four designed sets standing. All-Access ($350) gets you both, which is only $50 more than a single room and is what most members end up on.
Can I bring clients and shoot paid work?
Yes. Members run their own client sessions here constantly. That is the entire point. It is your studio for the price of a couple of hourly bookings.
Is membership actually cheaper than paying hourly?
At $85/hr, the $250 tier pays for itself in three hours of shooting. If you shoot even one session a week you are ahead. If you shoot less than that, book hourly and we will tell you so.
Where is the studio and how do I see it?
Pilsen, Chicago. Exact address is given at the tour. Book a free tour below, walk the rooms, and decide afterwards. No pressure and no deposit to look.
How do I join?
Book a tour, see the space, then apply. We keep member numbers deliberately limited so the calendar stays usable. A studio you can never get into is not a membership, it is a subscription to disappointment.
