Membership and rates.

What does membership actually get me?
A room in Pilsen you can use up to four hours a day, every day, 24/7, month to month. Creator is the Loft at $250. Four-Set is the Set House and its four standing sets at $300. All-Access is both rooms at $350. House lighting and stands are included in every plan, and you can bring your own clients and paid work. Most studio memberships in Chicago give you five to eight hours a month in total.
What does it cost to rent?
It depends which room. The Loft, the open production room, is $45 an hour. The Set House, the four-set room, is $85 an hour. Half-day and full-day rates are available on request and are meaningfully cheaper per hour. If you shoot with us more than a couple of times a month, membership from $250/mo will almost certainly be cheaper than paying hourly. Ask and we will do the maths honestly.
What is included in the hourly rate?
The room, the sets, house lighting with stands and modifiers, restroom and utility sink access, and parking. You bring cameras, media and your own crew. Grip and specialty gear beyond the house package can be added on request.
Can I book outside business hours?
Yes. The space has 24/7 access. Overnight and early-morning bookings are common and are booked the same way as any other slot.
What is in the production room?
A full lighting setup, sound treatment and an open floor you set up yourself. That is what makes the space work for video and podcast production rather than just stills.
Can I hire your crew as well as the room?
Yes, and it is the most common upgrade. A crewed day gives you our DP, lighting, and post. That is quoted as a production, not a rental. Send a brief and we will scope it.
Is it suitable for podcasts?
Yes. We run multi-cam podcast production out of this room, so it is already sound-treated and set up for it. You can rent it self-serve or book us to run the multi-cam capture, sync, cleanup and mix.
Can I host an event or a shoot with a large crew?
Small activations and workshops work well. Tell us headcount when you enquire so we can confirm capacity and whether you need a coordinator on site.
Where exactly is it?
Pilsen, Chicago, at 2147 S Lumber Street. There is parking on site. The exact suite is confirmed when you book.
